WWE.com have added an article about Kane, and how he seems to be a “Divas Man”, over the time Kane has oddly enough won over the hearts of many Divas, in one way or another.. and if he doesnt get what he wants, he will make sure someone pays. A few years ago, Kelly Kelly was also added to the list of Divas Kane has had a liking for, WWE.com explains their short pairing below:

This was an odd one. For one wild series of events at the end of 2004, Kane got it into his head that the blond bombshell was harboring some secret feelings for the demon in red, going so far as to abduct Kelly backstage to try and persuade her to confess her love. Kelly didn’t bite, though, with Kane eventually formulating that she was protecting another Superstar who she actually did have feelings for. The Devil’s Favorite Demon seemed to think it was The Miz and acted accordingly, planting The Awesome One with a chokeslam and a Tombstone, but his brutal attempt at courtship ended before it began when he was forced to apologize for his actions by Stephanie McMahon one week later. He can’t win ’em all, apparently.

(PS: The mystery Superstar turned out to be Randy Orton, but he wasn’t interested in a relationship. Chalk it up to a rough patch for Kane and Kelly).

Kelly Kelly vs. Maxine

Kelly took control early with a thez press. She set up for her cartwheel corner thump but Maxine dove out of the way. Maxine followed up with a rest hold.

Kelly attempted to slither out of the hold but Maxine caught her with some knees to the spine and transitioned from one hold to the next.

Maxine locked in a guillotine choke, but Kelly slammed her into the corner to break the hold. Kelly began to work though her move set while screaming.

Kelly used the stinkface to set up for her second cartwheel thump attempt. This time she was successful and followed with her K2 for the 1-2-3…

Kelly Kelly defeated Maxine in 4:21.

WWE Divas Title Lumberjill Match: Nikki Bella vs. Beth Phoenix

We go to the ring where The Bella Twins are waiting. Out next comes the WWE Divas Champion Beth Phoenix.

Before the match starts, Eve Torres come out. She says it’s now her responsibility to improve WWE’s shows. She goes on and makes this a Lumberjill match. The rest of the WWE Divas come down and surround the ring.

They go at it and Nikki connects with a dropkick. More back and forth until Nikki goes up top. Beth grabs Nikki, carries her over her head and drops her on her face. Beth continues the assault and splashes her on the ropes for another 2 count. Beth goes on and hits a backbreaker for another 2 count. Nikki fights out of a submission but Beth grabs her for the Glam Slam. Nikki escapes from it and knocks Beth down for 2. Nikki gets knocked to the floor. Beth falls to the floor also and looks to have injured her leg. Brie Bella comes over and attacks her. This brings the rest of the Divas over and they brawl. Natalya throws Nikki in while Brie throws Beth in. The referee asks Beth if she can continue as she holds her leg. Nikki comes from behind and rolls her up for the win and the title.
